First Progress Report

My New Year's start was Lettres "G" by Gigi R. These two pictures show my progress thus far.

As I continue with my Friday night stitching with Let's Stitch, I was able to finish most of the roof on Where My Heart Blooms (WMHB), Blackbird Designs the first week. Now I am working on the sides of the house. I had considered working the sides in long arm cross stitch but, opted to do a regular cross stitch so that I wouldn't have to fuss with the color changes.

I am also working on a piece from my friend Chris. I should be through with A is for Acorn, by Hillside Samplings in the next day or two. I need to stitch 2 more squirrels, the date, and add the button.

Last but not least I finished an exchange piece. No picture now I will post after my exchange partner receives it. This will be going in the mail on Monday.

I am really excited about what I have done so far and hope to make some more progress in the coming weeks.
